Zartan is the leader of the Dreadnoks and a mercenary for Cobra Commander. Though much of his background is unknown, much like Snake Eyes, he is believed to have had extensive military training at a European academy. He is a master of disguise, able to change his skin color to blend into his environment. He is also a martial artist, polyglot and ventriloquist, thus remaining a tough opponent for the G.I.JOE's. He was first introduced in Marvel Comics G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero #24 and fully introduced in the next issue #25 in July of 1984.

Shipwreck, whose real name is Hector X. Delgado, enlisted in the Navy at 16 and graduated from his Naval Gunnery School as an expert of numerous handguns. He first appeared in Marvel Comics G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #40 in October 1985. In this issue, he helps the G.I.JOE's manage aquatic efforts while dealing with Cobra Commander's Cobra island.

Serpentor is the emperor of Cobra and a brilliant political figure in the G.I.JOE series. He was created by Doctor Mindbender and Destro, who combined DNA from some of the worlds greatest leaders to make him. Bred to be a leader and conqueror, he eventually takes the power of Cobra away from Cobra Commander. He first appeared in Marvel Comics G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #49 in July of 1986.

Cobra Trooper's are the foot soldiers of the Cobra Organization led by Cobra Commander. Originally known simply as "The Enemy" when introduced to the world in the G.I.JOE series, they later became known as "Vipers". Their positions determine their trooper type, for example: a Heli-Viper flies the Cobra Battle Copter, a Ninja-Viper knows martial arts and an Alley Viper is a Cobra urban assault trooper. Alley Viper's made their first appearance in Marvel Comics G.I.JOE series #92 in 1989.

Juggernaut, supervillain of the X-Men first appeared in the funny books of X-Men #12 in July of 1965. He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Juggernaut a.k.a Cain Marko is the step-brother of Charles Xavier (Professor X), leader of the X-Men. Growing up, his real father who adopted Charles, started to favor Charles over him; which led to Cain bullying Charles. Eventually the two entered the U.S. Army and get stationed in Korea. In Korea Cain finds a hidden temple dedicated to Cyttorak. Upon entering, Marko finds a ruby, and reads the inscription on the stone aloud: "Whosoever touches this gem shall be granted the power of the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak! Henceforth, you who read these words, shall become...forevermore...a human juggernaut!" The stones power channels into Cain and transform him into the menacing Juggernaut.

Iceman a.k.a Bobby Drake is a founding member of the X-Men, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who first appeared in The X-Men #1 in September 1963. He is said to have been created based on the Human Torch, but obviously just the opposite side of the spectrum of powers. He is a mutant with the ability to manipulate ice and cold by freezing water vapor around himself. As a youngster his powers first appeared when he was out on a date when he freezed a bully in ice who was picking on his girl. Once the local town heard of the incident they formed an angry mob and came after him. The authorities then put him in jail. While sitting in his cell one day it was suddenly blown open and he was visited by a fellow mutant Cyclops who offered him a chance to thrive by coming with him. Bobby refused and the two got into a short battle, which was quickly ended by Professor X. The professor persuaded Bobby and his parents to have him attend his school for the gifted, which he did. This would be the beginning of the creation of Marvel's most well known team, the X-Men which would launch with these members: Iceman, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast and Angel!

Green Goblin is one of the most well known supervillains of Spider-Man. Creators Stan Lee and Steve Ditko launched him into the pages of Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man #14 in July 1964. The first incarnation of the Goblin was Norman Osborn, an industrialist and head of Oscorp who took a formula which he hoped would enhance his physical / mental abilities but it drove him to insanity, turning him into the Green Goblin. However, the lab accident did give him superhuman strength, increased speed, endurance and regeneration (like Wolverine). He is a Halloween-themed villain with weapons such as jack-o-lanterns, ghosts and bats. He flies around on a rocket glider which is accessorized with an assortment of gadgets and weapons. He terrifies the city and remains one of Spidey's toughest enemies. The Mighty Mugg above portrays the Goblin in his typical green / purple suit, on his glider and holding a pumpkin bomb.
