Galactus first appeared in Marvel Comics Fantastic Four #48 in March 1966 created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. His first cover appearance was on the following issue Fantastic Four #49. He is a cosmic entity that survives by engulfing planets and harvesting their energy for himself. He is known as the destroyer of worlds and one of the Fantastic Four's toughest enemies. The Mighty Mugg above portrays the villain in his well known pink and blue armor.
