Chewbacca is a Wookiee, sidekick of Han Solo and affiliated with the Rebel Alliance. He first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope in 1977. Actor Peter Mayhew portrayed the character in Episodes III, IV, V, VI and VII. The Mighty Mugg above portrays him in his well known look.
