Shockwave is a decepticon and military operations commander for the evil leader Megatron. He is cold and emotionless which enables him to carry out his tasks to perfection. His iconic features include his laser cannon arm and single robotic eye upon a featureless face as seen in the above mighty mugg. Shockwave came to the big screen in the 2009 film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots who possesses a strong sense of honor, advanced military tactics, sound decision making skills and impressive combat knowledge. His former mentor and archenemy is Megatron who leads the Decepticons. Prime's transformation form is always a large truck, originally a Kenworth K100. In the 2007 Transformers film he changed into a Peterbilt 379. The above Mighty Mugg portrays him in his look from the 2007 movie.

Bumblebee is an Autobot who hit the scene in the early 1980's in the form of a yellow Volkswagen Beetle. He is one of the smallest Transformers and a trusted lieutenant to his leader Optimus Prime. In the 2007 Transformers film it was out with old and in with the new as Bumblebee became a 2006 Chevrolet Camaro; evolving from a 1968 Camaro purchased by Sam Witwicky played by actor Shia LaBeouf. Autobot Jazz is optimistic, able to take things one step at a time, a big talker and a loyal member of the Autobots. He often gets picked on by his leader Optimus Prime for his great attitude. Although he is small in size, much like his fellow team member Bumbleebee he will never back down from any opponent. He transforms into a sports car. He was introduced to the big screen in the 2007 film Transformers!

Starscream is a member of the Decepticons and longs to one day replace Megatron as the villainous leader. He Transforms into a Jet and is a treacherous fighter on the battlefield. He is a graduate of the Cybertron War Academy with a degree focused in Science, having previously used his knowledge as an explorer.

Grimlock is a member of the Autobots who values power and strength over everything else. His fellow Autobots wonder why he is even part of the team because he doesn't get along with them very well and his personality aligns better with the Decepticons. He also dislikes his leader Optimus Prime and would rather fight his way out of any situation instead of using his head to do the right thing. Grimlock is also the leader of the Transformer Dinobots which is a small strike squad of great power.

Soundwave is a member of the Deceptions and one of Megatron's most reliable soldiers. He is the Communications Officer and a master spy who is capable of reading others minds, having done so to his enemy Transformer Autobots. Many of his fellow Decepticons see him as being two faced because he will do anything to maintain his upper rank near his leader, including betraying his own teammates. He appeared on screen in the 2009 film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
