Princess Leia Organa is the twin sister Luke Skywalker, the daughter of Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. Darth Vader and eventual wife of Han Solo. She first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope in 1977. Actress Carrie Fisher portrayed the character in Episodes IV, V, VI, VII and VIII.
