Just when you thought the epic movie franchise that was launched into theaters in 1977 by George Lucas had hung up it's boots for good in recent years, episode 7 showed up in 2015 and reignited the franchises awesomeness! And just like each of the preceding movies, its starts with an opening crawl to catch you up to speed on the story and here it is:
Opening Crawl:
Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister FIRST ORDER has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until Skywalker, the last Jedi, has been destroyed.
With the support of the REPUBLIC, General Leia Organa leads a brave RESISTANCE. She is desperate to find her brother Luke and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy.

This film introduces us to new characters, such as Finn, Rey, BB-8 and Poe on the side of the rebels. We also get introduced to Kylo Ren who has ambitions to continue what his grandfather Darth Vader started before him. But what's a Star Wars movie without familiar faces? Though age has caught up to many of them we see Jedi Luke Skywalker, his sister Leia, pilot Han Solo, his copilot Chewbacca, droid C-3P0, Ewok Teebo and leader Admiral Ackbar just to name a few! It's an epic adventure and a must see film, check it out!
