Snowtroopers a.k.a Cold Assault Stormtroopers were imperial Stormtroopers trained to fight in cold climates. Under the leadership of the Galactic Empire they won the battle of Hoth against the rebels led by General Maximillian Veers who directed the elite Blizzard Force. They first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back in 1980. The Mighty Mugg above portrays them in their thermally sealed, cold weather gear holding a blaster.
